Time for an update on the Green Vegetable Project.
As you know, our project aims to provide local families with a more nutritious diet and also a way of making some extra money to pay for medicines and school fees.
We achieve this by giving out free green vegetable seeds and teaching people how to make nursery beds, transplant seedlings, and care for them.
This season, we are focusing on teaching local school children and we are thrilled to share that the three government schools in Igayaza have successfully created nursery beds.
Dennis, our dedicated volunteer in charge of the project, is currently busy helping them plant and care for the seeds. It's amazing to see the enthusiasm and interest from the children as they learn about gardening and the importance of nutritious food.
We believe that by empowering the locals with these skills, we are not only improving their diets but also equipping them with a valuable source of income.

Noticias sobre el proyecto Verduras Verdes.
Como saben, nuestro proyecto pretende proporcionar a las familias locales una dieta más nutritiva y también una forma de ganar algo de dinero extra para pagar medicinas y tasas escolares.
Para ello, repartimos semillas gratuitas de hortalizas verdes y enseñamos a la gente a hacer semilleros, trasplantar las plántulas y cuidarlas.
